Children’s Ministry – May Series: Pentecost
This May, our Children’s Ministry will wrap up the ministry year by exploring the powerful story of Pentecost (Acts 2:1–41)—the moment the Holy Spirit came like a rushing wind and flames of fire, filling the disciples with courage to share the good news of Jesus. Throughout the month, kids will discover how God’s Spirit moves, empowers, and works in our lives today. Each week, children will experience the story through our special rotation stations: Week 1 – Storytelling We’ll bring the Pentecost story to life through interactive storytelling, helping kids step into the moment and understand what happened. Week 2 – Science Hands-on experiments and activities will help kids explore the sights and sounds of Pentecost in a fun and memorable way. Week 3 – Art Creative projects will help children express the story and create meaningful reminders of God’s Spirit at work. Week 4 – Cooking Kids will connect with the lesson through simple food-based activities, discovering how sharing and fellowship connect to the early church. Week 5 – Movie & Party Celebration We’ll close out the year with a special movie and celebration party as we reflect on all we’ve learned and celebrate an amazing ministry year together! As we finish our Children’s Ministry season, we’ll transition into our summer schedule, where children will continue to be part of worship through a special Children’s Moment during the service each week. Full Children’s Ministry will return in September as we begin a new ministry year alongside the school year. We’re excited to finish strong and look forward to all God has in store! |
